Senior Honors Thesis

Completed a thesis in partial fulfillment of the requirements for Honors in the Major in Theatre & Drama at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This project involved writing a computer program implementing the draft standard for the Streaming ACN protocol. The thesis is available online in a limited version that does not include the draft standard (for copyright reasons) or the software, although I hope to have examples of the software available online soon.

See the (nearly) complete text of the thesis.

Elation Education Experience 2007

Winner of the Elation Education Experience, 2007. The contest involved creating a design for a fictional multipurpose youth ministry room using Elation Compu Ware Live 3D software. The space was pre-designed, and contestants were given a budget of $80,000 and power limit of 100A. Contestants were only allowed to use Elation products.

See sample video, renderings, equipment list, and concept statement.

Lighting Design for Conduct of Life

An unrealized lighting design produced for a lighting design class at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For this project we were given the space and inventory of a real theater we had never seen in order to simulate real-world design circumstances.

See hand-drafted plot, mini-plots, and other design materials.
